HILLBILLY OUTHOUSE #4
Outhouse #4 operates as a parade unit of the Clay County Shrine Club, and is an affiliate of Hillbilly Clan #18 from Morocco Shrine Center in Jacksonville. Our goals are threefold...to promote Shrine fellowship; raise monies for the Children's Hospitals; and work closely with CCSC's other parade units to represent CCSC in a positive manner throughout the surrounding community.
We are always looking for ideas for fundraisers for the hospital, so please let us know what you think. Remember, as a Hillbilly it is our job to help our Club, our Clan, and our Temple…and that ain't no hurdle for us steppers. Remember our meeting is the third Friday of the month. So Tater Eaters…looks like we need to get busy and get some rigs on the road for this parade season.
HILLBILLY OUTHOUSE #4
2007 has been a busy year for us Hillbillies of Outhouse #4. We have participated in a number of parades.
Keystone Heights 4th of July Parade
The BIG one in October- Hahira Honeybee Festival Parade
Middleburg Night Christmas Parade
Lake Asbury Christmas Parade
We had a good showing and had lots of fun.
There were also two Hillbilly Degrees held this year, bringing in 27 new cuz’n’s into Clan #18. Ocala Shrine Club Hillbilly Outhouse #2 hosted the Degree in the spring. Clay County Shrine Club Outhouse #4 hosted the degree in the fall.
Elections were held in November. The results are:

Speaking of Russ, He and Linda have done an outstanding job as Pres. and Momma for the last two years. A big YEE HAA! For them.
We Hillbillies of Outhouse #4 are always looking for ideas for activities and fundraisers. Send us any ideas you might have to help us raise money for the kids. We turned in $615.00 to the PTF this year.
Our meetings are once again scheduled for the third Thursday of the Month at 7:00 PM. We meet at the Clay County Shrine Club Annex and have a good time. Come join us. LADIES: if you are tired of following your Noble around, As a Hillbilly you can participate in many activities you normally couldn’t. You can parade in most civic parades. Even if you don’t have a ride, you can walk along side. Check out some of our rides on www.claycountyshrineclub.com and click on the Outhouse site. We are considering building a float for those wanting to ride in parades
Ladies and fellers that may be interested in becoming a Hillbilly, contact Bill Caille. He can get an application to you and keep you advised as to when the Raban of the Clan, Gene Nezat schedules another degree. Clan #18 tries to conduct two degrees each year. The degree can be held at different locations and hosted by any Shrine club. We invite all Shriners and their eligible Gals to join Hillbilly Clan #18. Cost is $35.00 for men and $15.00 for gals. This is a lifetime fee, NO Dues.
